If multiple teams tie for 1st place, ties will be broken using MATHCOUNTS rules (Team Round score, then sum of the Sprint Round scores, and then comparison of specific Team Round questions)

If the official results posted on the California MATHCOUNTS website differ from the results announced at the awards ceremony, this market will be re-resolved based on the official results if the resolution needs to be changed
